Dear Dr. Stein,

It’s been a little over four months since my hi-definition vaser liposuction and I want to share with you and your staff my absolute delight with the progress I am making. I cannot say enough about the total pre and post surgical care I have received from you and your team. To Toni, Bob, Miriam, Melissa, and of course you Dr. Stein, a big ‘thank you’. I never thought I would wear a 33 inch waist pair of jeans – wow! But before getting into the specifics of my case I’d like to relay a personal story with those who might read this testimonial prior to having their own procedure at your clinic.

I am 53 years of age and my career puts me on the road over 200 nights a year. This makes the management of a healthy lifestyle challenging, but not by any means impossible. However, I have not always been good at doing this. A pivotal moment in my life was Monday, August 11th, 1997. I was on an early morning flight from Tampa to Washington, DC and I noticed a very large man two rows ahead of me in the bulkhead row. I had just turned 40 that June and he looked to be about the same age. In preparing for takeoff he became abusive and rude to the flight attendant when she offered him a seat belt extension. He struggled with the regular seat belt and somehow managed to buckle himself in. When we got up in the air the flight attendants prepared to serve breakfast. The man retrieved his tray table from the armrest of his seat but was unable to open it fully as it would not clear his enormous belly. As I lifted my own tray table out of the armrest I said quietly to myself “how could anyone allow themselves to get like that?” To my horror, when I put my tray table down the gap between my belly and the edge of the table was probably less than one inch!

The next day I got up at 5:00am and walked briskly for 30 minutes. I was absolutely exhausted and gasping for breath. I got up the next morning and did the same thing, and the next morning, and the next morning. By the time November of 97 rolled around I had lost close to 20lbs. having started out at 235lbs. and a pant waist size of 40 inches. Later that month I joined a gym and moved my walking to a treadmill. I could barely manage 30 minutes on the machines but I persevered. Next came weight training and eventually running. All along I had sensibly managed my diet and my whole lifestyle change was well underway.

Fast forward to February of 2010 when I visited your clinic for a consultation about the removal of some stubborn belly fat and love handles that refused to budge despite countless crunches. Prior to my procedure my pant size was down to a 34 inch waist and I weighed in at 197lbs. I felt good about my overall health and physique, but not delighted.

At the initial consultation I was amazed – and very pleased – that you considered me a candidate for the hi-definition procedure. I had clearly done my part to lose the weight and you were ready to help me achieve my ultimate goal. You took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answered all my questions with a focus on total my satisfaction.

On the day of the procedure, Bob and Miriam prepped me for surgery and you went to work on my transformation. I remember being asked once or twice to turn over but other than that I could not really recall anything. At the end of the surgery you had me stand up and look in the mirror. I just could not believe my eyes! The love handles that had been so stubborn for so long were gone. The belly fat was gone. My dream of a flat stomach and trim waist was finally a reality. Not only are you a highly capable physician; you are
a gifted sculptor too – a true artisan.

For most, the story might end there but you also spent time analyzing my blood work and designing a course of dietary supplementation and hormone rebalancing. The effect on my overall level of energy, strength and endurance has been phenomenal. I do not tire as easily as I did before and I have increased my leg press capability by a whopping 50%.

My body weight has gone down and I stay in the 191 to 193 pound range and my muscle mass has gone up too. So the reason for my story is that it’s not just about the physical improvement of the surgery, but the overall improvement in mind, body, and spirit. So for all of you contemplating this transformational surgery, let Dr. Stein work with you and you will be delighted. Do your part first and he and his team will move you beyond your expectations.

Dear Dr. Dan,

In early 2009 I came to the Stein Medical Institute as a 57 year old male with a history of several serious MVA injuries that combined with the natural aging process had caused my overall health and appearance to be far less than what I knew I truly am.

I have been under your care since March of 2009 and in that time you have provided the full Stein Anti-Aging Regimen including the Stein Diet, corrective procedures and ongoing monitoring. Under your care I lost 30 pounds and 6 inches from my waist. Perhaps the most exciting thing is that I have regained some of the muscle bulk lost to aging and atrophy associated with my injuries.

Dear Dr. Stein,

I have always been a person who ate anything I wanted,  yet my weight would never show on me.  I taught Aerobics,  danced 5 nights a week,  and kept active
all the time.  I was full of energy.  So, I did not notice the slow weight gain and when I did I always thought that it will be easy to get rid of it,  I'll start next week.

Needless to say next week never came and then my age caught up to me and all the factors that play it's part with age.  Everyday I looked at myself and felt disgusted,  knowing what I had looked like before.  I felt horrible except when I was asleep.  My health seemed to be a distant 3rd compared to how I looked and felt about myself.  I denied that it was depressing.  I tried for a few years to workout, do cardio, and failed to lose anything that I could notice.  I saw no change which gave me little to no will power to continue.
 
I then realized I needed help.  I could not achieve the results I longed for on my own.  Dieting and exercise is the right thing to do,  but sometimes people like me need something to give us a helping hand with instant results.  I could not stop eating even though I exercised all the time.  A typical day of food for me would be,  anywhere from 8-10 cans of soda,  around 6-8 candy bars,  a medium pizza,  eat an entire "Carvel Ice Cream Cake",  a 12" subway sandwich, and then go to dinner.  My motto was "All of this eating is getting me hungry". 
 
Sounds like an exaggeration but that was the very minimum I ate.  I knew if I could just get a quick fix to help me see instant results I could have the will-power to maintain after that.  Finally I was out of denial and in the acceptance stage.  I was told by my mother about Dr. Stein,  she had heard of him.  I thought there is no reason not to at least go in and get information. 
 
The entire staff from start to finish made me feel so comfortable,  like family,  and most important to me was the fact I had no pressure at all.  Dr. Stein and staff sat with me and answered all my questions,  and I did not feel like I was rushed in anyway.  You know,  like when they have other patients to tend to.  They spent a lot of time with me.  They made sure that I was doing this for the right reasons,  and wanted me to know every step of the procedure.  I left the office already signed up to get surgery done with no trust issues at all.  Dr. Stein was sincere in every hope that he personally wanted me to be happy with the results and followed up with on his own time.  The whole staff was incredible.
 
This is how my life has changed since I met Dr. Stein and staff... I did not go in public "ANYWHERE"!!! with my shirt off.  I did not walk around my own house when my wife was home because I was embarrassed without a shirt on.  If I was awake I was depressed about my weight.  It affected everything I did and most of my happiness.  Even though I did not look fat to other people,  they actually thought I looked good.  Only you as a person knows how you feel. 

Only 2 months after surgery,  I feel something that words cannot describe.  It was almost as good as winning the lottery, (but not that good).  I have lost 49lbs.  Not because of what he took out,  but because Dr. Stein was the answer,  my helping hand,  the little push I needed to make it happen.  He did for me what I could not do on my own.  It was simple,  a one day in and out.  Recovery was minimal, I talked through the whole surgery,  I wouldn't shut up actually.  I had them in stitches (literally) the whole time. We had a great time during the surgery.  When it was done, I was amazed at the instant results, (even though there was obvious swelling).  Still, I saw beyond the swelling and knew if I could see these kind of result now... what happens when the swelling goes down.  I have since completely turned my eating habits of 44 years totally around.  I have gained in one day the will-power to stick with it,  and now I actually enjoy exercising.  I do cardio and weights 6 days a week and it has become a lifestyle.  It has also affected people close to me because when you are unhappy the person close to you feels that pain also. 

So,  in conclusion,  what did it take for my entire life to change for the better, feel great about myself, instill confidence in myself,  find the happiness I had lost? Only one thing... Dr. Stein.

I wanted to write this note to thank you for my "new body". On Feb 3 you performed LipoSelection with a fat transfer. 

I was awake during my procedure and able to follow directions, yet never in pain.  I admit the first few days following the procedure were pretty rough and I was sore.  I was however able to go back to work at the hospital after only 1 week.  I returned to my exercise routine in 2 weeks.

Once I hit 50 I started gaining weight, always in my abdomen.  For 10 years I tried numerous diets combined with exercise.  I would loose the weight but never the belly.  I have now dropped 12 pounds and went from a size 8-10 to a size 4.  My new flat stomach and larger breasts have given me a new confidence in my appearance I didn't have before. Although I was never considered heavy by others, in my eyes, my clothes didn't look and fit the way I wanted them to.  Now they do!
 
In closing, let me say you have the most incredible staff of any physician I have ever visited.  Everyone smiles, speaks to me,  and makes me feel as if I am the only person there.

An open message to everyone at the Stein Medical Institute...

From Melissa who first greeted us upon our arrival, Toni who was instrumental in our procedure choices, Nancy who took care of the pre-op exam, Miriam who personally held my hands during the roughest parts of the chosen surgery and of course Dr Dan Stein who was compassionate, straightforward and a true artist with the tools of his trade, we found ourselves surrounded by those who cared about us and treated us like family.

I especially want to thank Bobby for his trust, understanding, skill and conversation while I spent a great deal of time at the center this past week. I feel a very real closeness with you and have a great respect for your knowledge of the human body and it’s ageing process. It was fun to learn of your life as well as being able to share mine with you and can only hope you, as well as everyone else there has a long and prosperous life ahead.

With both of us having read Dr Stein’s book (Passionate Sex), it appears we all share many of the same values and ideals relating to life, love and the human spirit. It is very easy to see why we enjoyed our time with each and every one of you. We certainly understand your schedules are very hectic and can only say we never felt like we were a number to be processed and pushed out the door for the next patient. There was always time for questions to be answered or calls to be fielded from us to make sure we were completely clear on any matter that arose.  This may seem like normal ops to you and the staff on hand, however there are many places we have been in the past for healthcare that we felt like questions were an insult to the medical professional we were addressing.

Kat and I both feel there will be a long standing relationship with the Stein Medical Center in our continued effort to age gracefully. We are looking forward to stopping in to say hi on our future visits to the Tampa area and will be looking for your guidance regarding our health for many years to come.  Of course the hugs and kisses make us feel warm and appreciated, not to mention, has a calming effect when your about to undergo a procedure that can be somewhat intimidating no matter how much research has been done by yourself to prepare for it.

Rest assured, each and every one of you have a standing invite to visit or allow us to take you to dinner should you find yourselves in the northern Indiana area at any time.  We believe we now have an extended family here in Tampa and wish everyone the best life has in store for you. Dear Dr. Stein,

There was a reason that I chose Stein Med, even with the four hour commute, it was absolutely worth it!!!

I am absolutely thrilled at the way I look after you performed your magic on me.  I know I was much heavier than most with regards to the amount of body fat in the areas we were focusing on.  You were very realistic with me from the very begining, but its truly incredible what you have created, far above any expectations that I had!! 

I am almost 3 Pants sizes down in only the first 4 weeks after surgery, with a good 7 months of healing to go and a six pack to boot.  My abs are incredible as I have never had a six pack before.  You, Bob, Melissa, Miriam and of course Toni have been incredible and I consider you all family.  I look in the mirror, remembering what i looked like before the surgery and cannot believe that its me in the same mirror.

Dear Dr. Stein:

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the beautiful work you did on my thighs and buttocks. The two procedures you did have changed my life.

You never saw what my god given thighs and buttock were since I had had liposuction done on my outer & inner thighs and hips, in Massachusetts, back in 1997. I had 6000cc removed then, using regular liposuction. That procedure was done in the hospital. I was given general anesthesia. I was supposed to go home that day, but I did not feel well enough and opted to pay for the night in the hospital.

The rest of the recovery from that procedure was a bit tough.

In November 2007, you performed a VASAR Liposelection procedure on my saddle bags, removing 3000cc of fat. It was done in your office with local anesthesia. I was very relaxed and all went well. With my past lipo experience I was prepared for a tough recovery. VASAR proved me wrong. I was out of bed and off pain killers in a couple of days. Pain and bruising were not bad.

Now having 9000cc of fat removed from my posterior left me with some skin pilling up back there. We had hoped the VASAR would tighten most of it up. While my skin was tight, there was just too much of it.

In May 2007 I opted to have a skinectomy to remove the excess skin. The procedure was done under local anesthesia in the Institute. I felt comfortable and relaxed. The procedure went well. The result is amazing!! Dr. Stein has completed reshaped my buttocks, my thighs look normal... incredible!

I am 5 weeks post-op now. There is no bruising, the scars are healing beautifully, and I love the results. I won’t lie, this recovery was more difficult then I had expected, but it is a small price to pay for the results.

So, thank you Dr. Stein and the rest of the Stein Medical Institute family, for your knowledge, support and talent.

Dear Dr. Stein,

I'm moved to take the time to write and thank you and your entire staff for giving me back my husband and letting me keep him for an additional couple of decades.

Tim and I came to you because he was an overweight type 2 Diabetic with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.  Frankly, he was a heart attack waiting to happen.  Tim did the work.  He watched his diet.  He exercised with two different personal trainers.  Nothing he did or we did would decrease the large amount of abdominal fat he had.  This was seriously endangering his health and his overall emotional well being.

Then I read about the new liposelection.  So I checked out a few places with vaser technology and decided to come in for a consult with you.  Tim thought, maybe, just maybe, you might be able to do a little something for him ...  Well now that was an understatement.

From the day of the consultation and our first encounter with Melissa and Toni, through the surgeries with you at the helm, Dr. Bremmer as your co-pilot, along with Bob, Miriem and Yvette, we have felt as though members of our own family were caring for us.

Tim underwent four arduous procedures and Dr. Stein, your aftercare instructions were perfect to the letter and I have never had a surgeon who called the evening of the procedure to make sure everything was okay.  The fact that you took the time to make that call your self, each time, meant the world to us.

Igor was also amazing with the massage and the aftercare manipulation.  There were no complications or pockets because he did such an awesome job and he also taught me how to massage so that I could aid in the recovery process.

The result has been this:  Tim is now down about 35 lbs.  He has more energy.  He has actually been able to lose weight because hormonal balance has been restored.  His blood sugar readings remain under 100 steadily and there is no sign of the type 2 Diabetes.  His blood pressure is now is the LOW normal range.   And I can get my arms around him to hug him more!

On top of that (as if you all could do any better), I got to know your staff through all of that and now Marina is making wonderful changes to my skin, you have given me the full lips I never had and always wanted and Dr. Bremmer done an amazing job on my Botox.  Just a bonus, and purely cosmetic maybe, but with a hottie like Tim for a husband, I have to keep up appearances.

Dr. Stein, Tim lost his father at 52 from a heart attack.  That birthday is coming up for Tim and I know now he will be around for it and many more.

We are grateful to you, Dr. Bremmer, Bob, Miriem, Yvette, Toni and Melissa and Igor.  There are a few words above, but not enough to express...

Melissa was the first person I met when arriving, and what a great first impression she makes. She was kind, and friendly from the time I walked in until I walked out. The other receptionist was equally kind and personable. I truly received a smile from EVERY single person in your office. I then met with you and Toni.

You instantly knew the exact results I was looking for, and explained everything precisely with great detail. I’m writing a letter to Dr. Stein and his staff to share with anyone considering becoming a client of Stein Medical Institute. 

Let me share a little about myself.  I am a 54-year-old female from Crystal River, Florida.  My first experience with enhanced surgery was approximately 18 years ago.  At that time, I had a breast augmentation, followed later by a tummy tuck, eyelids, brow lift, mini face and neck lift and liposuction, which were done in Ocala. I was happy with the results.  My healing process, however, was difficult.  I had a lot of pain and the recovery time was lengthy. 

Approximately 2 years ago, I became concerned about my thighs, mainly the extra fat and loose skin.  I consulted with 2 different surgeons.  Their solution would have entailed extensive surgery, which they referred to as a “thigh lift”.  The procedure did not appeal to me because of the extensive recovery time. 

A friend of mine told me of something she heard of called Mesotherapy.  I turned to the computer for information.  It was there I ran across the Stein Medical Institute.  My first conversation when I called was with Joe Zolton.  I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.  It was a pleasure speaking to him then and when I met him in person.  Joe then introduced me to Dr. Stein.  I felt at ease right away. 

That day I was scheduled for a procedure called VASER. (Finally, a solution to my thighs).  Before my procedure, Dr. Stein and I talked for approximately one hour.  We addressed my concerns and any further procedure that I was considering.  He spoke to me about a procedure called the ContourLift™.  I decided to have it done that day, along with my original for my inner thighs.  The ContourLift™ took less than 45 minutes; my VASER took a bit longer.  I left there that afternoon after only having local anesthesia.  The next day I was pleasantly surprised, I could not believe there was absolutely no bruising to my face.  It looked terrific.  It was a breeze compared to any of my other facial surgeries, which had left me with extensive bruising, not to mention the numerous stitches and the long recovery time, which left me confined to the house.

Now, let me tell you about my VASER results.  (Eureka!).  Finally I found a procedure to remove the excess fat from my inner thighs along with tightening of the skin.  During my procedures of the ContourLift™ and VASER, I had very little discomfort, most of the time, none at all.  The best part was the recovery period.  I was back to my daily activities within 2 days and back to moderate exercise within 1 week.  I have now had my second VASER procedure done and have scheduled VASER for my arms.

Dr. Stein, you are remarkable.  Your skills are impeccable; your attitude had me feel completely comfortable in your hands. There are three others on your staff I would like to truly thank.  First, Dr. Rosa.  You are a very gentle and compassionate woman.  You answered all my questions with such honest concern.  Some I asked more thank once.  Dr. Stein couldn’t ask for a kinder assistant. The two young ladies who assisted in the procedure room, Ashley and Vanessa, thanks to you also for your skillful ability to keep a pleasant attitude.

I am writing this letter so you may share it with people who come to you concerned about their physical appearance.

I am a successful 57-year-old happily married, family man. Like many of the people who probably come to see you, I have been fighting a weight (appearance) problem in excess of a decade. It has been a very frustrating problem for me. While my co-workers and family accept and love and me  for whom I am. Somewhat overweight, I have not been happy with my appearance.

I have tried most of the diets, pills, exercise programs, personal trainers, etc. with limited successes. What is worse is that over several months, after all that work, my body returns to its former shape. I investigated Lipo­Suction, Stomach band, and Gastric Bypass and determined this was too risky and not for me.

I then thought of all the money, time and effort invested in unsuccessfully changing my appearance over all those years, and in retrospect, it became reasonable. I-scheduled my first procedure as fast as I could. My procedure had some pain, but it was easily manageable, a small price to pay for my new image. I remained awake and coherent for the entire procedure. This gave me additional comfort realizing I was not facing the added risk of Anesthesia.

Four days after the procedure I was playing doubles tennis. I was totally surprised that the first procedure you performed with three assistants (I can’t leave out the mention of wonderful Rosa) lasted approximately four hours. I came to the realization not only were the fees reasonable, but they now appeared to be a real value. I had no concept how much time and effort and dedication on your part went into this.

One week later you performed the second procedure, much again lasted several hours. A second surprise for me was the self-sacrificing time that you personally (not a staff member) invested in the follow up phone calls you made after each procedure to see how I was doing. You have no idea what that meant to me.

While I remain swollen at this point, I can see and feel a difference, and I believe that finally I will achieve the image that I desire. I look forward to the last procedure next week.

For many years, I suffered from lack of confidence in my physicality due to the stubborn fat I had collected in my midsection over the years. I attempted many diet and exercise programs to the point of burn out and began desperately looking for an alternative to the norm.

I am writing this letter for all to read if they are even considering having the liposelection procedure. I am 2 weeks out from having my procedure. 

I had my "bigh" done..... If you are wondering what a 'bigh' is ,well, let's just  say it is the name that I have given to that area where your butt meets your thigh, yet you have no line of delineation, no one knows exactly where one begins and one ends..... You may call it a saddlebag, but mine was a 'bigh'....  Anyways,  I am 37, I  joined my first gym at the age of 12.  I have always been extremely athletic.  I lift weights 3 days a week and excercise 7.  I only eat fruits, veggies, nuts, grains, fish and poultry.  I never eat fast food and I do not drink caffeine or alcohol. Now even with a regimented routine like mine.  Including, I should mention,  tons of squats and lunges to work out that area.  I could NEVER EVER  DO ANYTHING TO FIX THE 'BIGH'.  I am someone that people who see me in clothes, think that I am very thin and fit.  But they have no idea, how much I hate my back side area.  Anyways,  I saw the billboard and called the office.....

Here is what I want you to know....  I am so so happy that I have done this!  I wish that I had done this 10 years ago, instead of hating my body all this time! 

Dr. Stein is a very intelligent man and you will see if you go for a consult, that he has a passion for what he is doing.  He has a wonderful and knowledgeable staff working beside him as well.  You do not need to worry, he has performed many many procedures. 

As for the procedure itself.... First off, the procedure was a piece of cake, we talked and laughed during it... Second,since I have 3 kids, I told the doctor that I didn't want to take any strong meds, so he gave me ibeprophen.  I only took 1/2 of a pill the night of the procedure, and that was a 'just in case' pill before I went to bed.  I never had a need to take any other pain pill this entire 2 weeks.  I just followed the instructions that they gave me and it has been so easy!

Now, here is my 'theory' about paying for the procedure... As a woman, I have spent SO much money on clothes that 'hide' that area that I hate.  If you think about it, it only makes sense to just FIX that area, then you will love all of the clothes that you have in your closet! For me, it was a no brainer.....  And, by the way I trust the doctor so much, that I am having my lips done!!!!  This office is really wonderful! Again, I want to say that I am just so happy   and THANK YOU!

This is meant for anyone who is trying to decide on where to go for a younger looking you...

I am 32.

I visited Dr. Stein, because I wanted to shave a few years off. I had heard so much about dermal fillers and Botox on TV and in magazines. I knew I wanted to smooth out my lines, but I wasn’t sure which product was best for me. I called the Stein Medical Institute for some help.

On my first visit, I sat down with Dr. Stein for my consultation. He took the time to sit down and  discuss my wishes and look over the areas of my face needing his assistance.

Because of his years of experience and knowledge of each option, Dr. Stein recommended a combination of fillers that varied on each area of my face that needed smoothing out. He used one type for my smile lines and another to fill out my cheeks for a fuller, younger looking me. He recommended a small amount of silicone in my lips to make them just a wee bit more plump. He mentioned Botox and the benefit of its minimizing movement and extending the life of the filler. I would have never thought of this special combination, but Dr. Stein knew exactly what I needed and clearly explained the pros and cons of each option.

One thing I loved about my experience was Dr. Stein's philosophy that "less is more". To me, that meant a lot, because I knew he was recommending what was right for me as a patient. I am sure you don't find those types of ethics at every practice in Tampa.
